This is my mom and dad. They were stationed in Gander Newfoundland during the second world war. They were married there and then were transfered to Vancouver to be discharged . This was the closest thing they got to having a honeymoon was this trip by rail across Canada. They ended up staying in Vancouver for quite a few years and my oldest sister was born in Vancouver General.
