This is a photo of my mother, Margaret Haggen and her then boyfriend, Hugh Urquart. Margare and Hugh attended school in Rossland from Grade 6 until graduation in 1946. Hugh left for University in Vancouver and in 1949, Margaret moved to Vancouver where the couple continue to date. The relationship ended and they eventually married different partners. Hugh married Marg Kalhovd. (from the same class in Rossland).The two couples were friends and kept in touch until Hugh’s death in 2008.
