Downtown with my friend, Teddy Kuster. My first job was working at Teletones Wired Music. They had jukeboxes in the cafes. A person would put a nickel in and a light would come on for us over in the Vancouver Block. We’d say ¬†“thank you. Number please?” ¬†They’d tell us the number, then we’d go and get the record and put it on the turntable. The sound would go to the restaurant. I worked there when I was 18 and I’m now 89 so that was in 1941.
