My wife Carolyn and I on our way to a Mardi Gras at the Commodore in the spring of ’62. It was a costume event – I wasn’t in the Navy! And I think I’m carrying a bottle of mixer in my pocket. Not sure why I would be bringing mixer because the deal was you brought your own bottle and bought the mixer there. Carolyn’s coat is a fake fur. Underneath she had on a Chinese textured dress, a “sexy slinky thing.”
