This photo is of my grandparents Charlotte and Stephen (Mickey) Excell. They are walking down Granville street on a Sunday afternoon in the 1940’s. My Grama has always put a lot of care into her hair, which is lovingly coiffed in this photo. She appears to have bought something that is in a box wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. At the time, Granville Street was a shopping district filled with shops and cafes.
