My parents Jack and Marion Costello in the early 1940’s. Dad went overseas in the war in 1942. Mum was raised in Vancouver while my Dad was from Calgary. After the war they lived in remote spots on the coast – Nootka, Bones Bay and Butedale on Princess Royal Island. Dad ran the cannery stores. They eventually settled in the Crescent Beach area to raise us 3 kids.
