My friend Bill and I were just doing a lunch-time walk, probably after a lunch at the Knight & Day at Granville and Smithe. We worked near each other. Bill worked in the Government Agent’s Office at the Court House (now the Art Gallery). I worked across Hornby St. at the CBC, then in the Vancouver Hotel.
