My Fiancé then had night out on town. We were married June of 1966. I came across this photo after hearing about the collection. This photo was taken on March 2o, 1965 on Granville street.

This is my mom and dad. Mom ( Anne) came from Saskatchewan and dad ( Ken) came from Jamaica. My dad immigrated to Canada in the late 50’s and eventually came west. My mom came to Vancouver and Victoria for nursing and that’s when they met. After their wedding they moved to England for awhile but eventually came back to have my brother and myself in Vancouver.
