In 1953, when I was 5, my 14 year old sister, Jeannie, took me on the CPR ferry to visit her friend, Charlene Pearce, in Vancouver.What an adventure that was! We saw the wonders of Stanley Park, shopped at Army & Navy & ate at the White Lunch. The latter was very exciting with its cafeteria style set up of endless possibilities. I can remember having cantelope with ice cream for breakfast!
