My parents Walter Dawson (1909-1998) and Winnifred Kennedy (1915-1998) before their marriage.
Walter was one of seven Saskatchewan farm kids, he being the eldest son of an Irish homesteader and his Winnipeg-born, German-descended wife.
Winnifred (“Win” or “Winnie”) was an Irish lass, an only child, born in Belfast, who emigrated to Canada with her parents when she was six, between the Irish War of Independence and the Irish Civil War.

As a neighbourhood kid, I recognized your mom and dad right away while going through the photos looking for someone else. You are lucky to have a one of a kind memento.
