1939 maybe – Granville Street at Dunsmuir (roughly where the Caffee Artigiano is). It’s my dad and grandpa. Picture has been a long time family favourite. Since grandparents are both gone now and my dad was only 4 or so, he doesn’t remember much of the pic, but does remember that “some guy was taking pictures and he took one of us.” 🙂 One can only assume it was Foncie.
