This is a photo of my Dad, Russell Gerow in the dark suit with a friend, Tommy Greare. Russ was born and raised in Vancouver and was 17 years old in this photo. He worked in logging camps before starting an apprenticeship as a butcher at the Woodward’s store in downtown Vancouver.
