With my friend, Helen Goddyn downtown on Granville Street. I’m 89 now and although it seems like most of the people I know have passed, Helen is still alive and we are still friends although we don’t see each other much because she lives in North Vancouver.

I love this picture!! It reminds me so much of what fun it was being a girl and having a great friend!! Thank you for sharing this. It also reminded me of my mom when she was a young girl in Hamilton. She would be 91 this year.

I love this picture. Also very attractive girls. Women were very natural in their looks in those days. You either had it or you didn’t. ! also have noticed throughout all the photos that everyone is slim. All that walking on Granville Street, I guess!
