My mother looking grim, my sister Carol and in the background my paternal grandfather George W. Wilson.  Our family were down to the big city from Whitehorse, Y.T. for a visit. Grandfather worked in the shipyard in Whitehorse which of course was seasonal. He and Grandmother often spent the winter at the Devonshire hotel with many other Yukon friends. I believe it was taken in about 1943.
