The photograph was taken around 1959-6. We had come into the city of Vancouver from Tsawwassen for my ophthalmologist appointment. In the photo my mother is wearing our favourite dress she owned by the designer Josef Ribkoff. That dress was so popular with us all that she remembers exactly where she had bought it even after 50 years. This was at Germaine’s Ladies Weat located on Granville Street during the 50s. We have always loved this photo.
