“My father and mother, Alberto and Assunta Principe. They emigrated here from Italy in 1906. Their first home was on Prior Street, where many other Italian families had settled. However, they soon moved to a house on East Georgia street where they lived til they died.

Foncie and my brother were friends in their youth and Foncie was part of the group that gathered at our house for parties. I remember there was a French song that Foncie always used to always sing “
