My mother, Nell Grant, my daughter Barbara (Mount), and me (Fran Mount). My sister knitted Barbara’s sweater. I remember we were on our way to the Marine Room for lunch. It was “the” place to have lunch–you looked out over English Bay and Stanley Park, a beautiful location. My mother had been the chef there for 13 or 14 years and this was a special occasion because Mom had just moved back down from the Yukon. She asid, “Let’s go to Spencers and see the whole gang”!
