Since learning about Foncie’s exhibit and viewing the photos on line, I recognized the back ground…well my search was on!

Here is my Dad in the centre, his best friend Gunther to the left. They still remain best friends to this day. They had just recently immigrated to Canada via Montreal from Germany. This was taken before they went back to get their ‘sweethearts’ who is now my Mom!

Unfortunately they lost track of their friend to the right who continued his travels to California
