My wife’s parents, Jack and Florence Wright, with Carolyn between them. Carolyn would have been about three years old then. Florence is still alive, now 98 and living in residential care. Unfortunately she can’t remember us now.
Shores Jewelry is in the background so this was likely taken on Granville, just below the Bay. Jack was a meteorologist with the weather department in Vancouver and Florence did some work with McLennan & McNeely & Prior (usually referred to as “Mc and Mc”). They were large wholesale distributors in industrial supplies.

That should be McLennan, McFeely & Prior — where my father worked during the early 40’s and 50’s. (He was working there during the war and was working there in the steel department when I was born in ’44)
