My Dad – Rodney Lansdell (Sgt.) on the left and his buddy Charles (Chuck) Warr (Sgt.)right were musicians in The Royal Canadian Engineers Band – based in Chiliwack BC –

Rodney played the tuba and Chuck played the French horn.

They were dressed in their ‘civies’ killing time downtown before or after a parade.
The band played during the PNE and other such large scale events or for visits made by the royal family. Sadly, Dad just passed away recently which is how we found the Foncie photo.
