Mom and Dad met during WWII and married in 1946. I can see on the back of the photo that it was taken in 1951 when they would have been still living on Little Mountain. My 2 brothers were born and Dad, having used my uncle’s school record to get post-war education assistance, graduated in law in 1953.

So, Dad would have been studying and Mom looking after my brothers and they must have been on their way to some ‘do’ downtown. I think that sign behind them may well be Mallek’s Womens Apparel.
