My Mom and Dad, Burton & Ursula MacGillivray, were married in the year this photo was taken – they both have that newlywed glow. She was a skilled seamstress and made most of her clothes, possibly including this suit. They had many happy times in Vancouver, including parties at the Stanley Park Pavilion and dancing at the Commodore Ballroom, before moving to Vancouver Island around 1950.
