My mom and me on Hastings Street between Woodward’s and Spencer’s on a weekend shopping trip downtown travelling by the number 3 streetcar. Those trips almost always included a jar of fresh-made peanut butter from one or the other of the stores. Couldn’t wait to get home for a slice of mom’s fresh brown bread slathered in peanut butter.
