This photograph was probably taken in 1944, not long before my parents left Vancouver to start a business in Saskatchewan. They loved window shopping on Granville Street. Mom loved the Bon Ton Bakery and she could always gather fashion inspiration for the clothing that she and her sister sewed for themselves.
