Photo was taken in the summer of 1955. My father, John Howarth and my younger sisters, twins, Mary and Maureen Howarth. My father was a WW2 RCAF Spitfire pilot. After the war Dad remained in the RCAF and was transferred to England as an exchange pilot. He was a test pilot for the first generation of fighter jet planes. Mary and Maureen were born in 1952 (corornation yr.) in Kings Lynn, England. 1st twins born to Cdn. military personnel overseas! Our Diamond Jubilee babies.
