This fine looking trio strutting their stuff down Granville was my mother, Stella Belyk, on the right, her sister Doris and Doris’s husband, Alf. It’s 1946 and people are still feeling the relief of the end of the war. They lived in the tiny town of Powell River and would come into Vancouver, the big city, to have some fun in the Granville Street establishments.
