Giving Foncie my tough guy look.

This was taken in 1958. I was 20 years old and had been living Vancouver for two years. Originally from Duncan on Vancouver Island. I worked for Pacific Elevators in the Marine Building.
I was growing the beard for the 1958 Cenetennial year and the CKNW beard growing contest (didn’t win) I had bright red hair and my beard was bright red as well.
I liked Foncies Fotos as they always made me look tall. His camera was at waist level and up looking up at the subject.
