I think this must be a Foncie Photo. It was taken in Vancouver in 1941 by a street photographer, some months after our family came to Canada from the Far East.

That’s Dad (Eric Long), the small fellow on the right, ready to take on the world! He was, at the time working for Confederation Life Insurance and is walking along with a fellow employee. Dad was soon away to join the RCAF, World War II. He did return!
