Louise Burrows and her mother-in-law Isabella Burrows (Wilson Johnson) who came out to Vancouver from England during the war. Isabella Burrows lived in a house near English Bay. Isabella returned to England later in the 1940’s.

She helped my father, who refused to go on the dole, to come to Canada. While visiting she lived in a rooming house in English Bay.
