We are about 19 years old in that photograph, it was 1970 and on Granville street Foncie was always there. We were first time away from home and we shared an apartment on Pendrell. Vancouver was a great place to hang out and be young and free. We lived on nothing. We lived on air! It was a pretty open time in Vancouver then. We met Art Garfunkel in the Dominion Hotel, the Lamplighter Bar. Jack Nicholson was here as well. We never had to pay for our drinks, there was always someone to buy them.
