Friends from their jobs at Coast Paper Ltd., Margaret and Marilyn walked the numerous blocks from Beatty to Granville St., in high heels…though not as high as today’s fashion. When Marilyn married, she moved to California, later to Oregon where there fewer earthquakes. Christmas cards have been exchanged every year since.
