Our violin trio, with accompanist, was on its way to play our performance piece, “Alabama Lullaby” on CJOR’s children’s talent show. All of us had been signed up to study with Harry Gomez at Ward’s Music by our parents who wanted us to play in the Estonian church orchestra. Mr. Gomez organized our trio to play at several venues including CJOR, PNE, etc. I was the youngest at age 10, and all 3 of us were recent immigrants to Canada. Sadly, the trio is no more.
