I emigrated to Canada in June 1953 on the “Georgic”ship line. My wife and son to follow on Trans Canada Airlines 3 month’s later.
Canadian National Railways was my sponsor. The ship picked up passengers in France then in Ireland. From there to Halifax then on to New York. From New York by rail to Toronto then on to Vancouver.
