I am not positive that this picture from spring 1943 was taken by Foncie Pulice. However, it is a photo of me and a Warrant Officer walking down the street. I had lied about my age by joining the Canadian army just as I turned 16. I went on to become a paratrooper, served overseas and was eventually commissioned during the Korean war.
