August 22/1951- My 3rd day in Vancouver, just arrived from Banff School of Fine Arts Summer School.

I am the one in dark suit. Planned to stay one year in Vancouver but it became my permanent home! I’ve seen many changes over the years. In those days it was illegal to ride a bicycle in a sidewalk. In the West End there were mostly houses, not apartments. I am glad I saw it when it was a quiet town!
