This photo of me (“Mum”) and my sister – Jackie Hooper – was taken when I was 29 or 30, and Jackie was 25 or 26. (The photo is incorrectly captioned as 1959 – it was more likely taken in 1952 or 53)
Now, I have celebrated my 90th birthday (in January of this year) and Jackie is 86. I still remember Foncie well – and this is one of more than 20 pictures he took of me. I worked at the Hudson’s Bay at that time, and passed him and his camera virtually every day.
