I love this photo. I couldn’t tell you where we were headed that day, but it brings back wonderful memories of my father and the times we spent together. It’s also nice to remember how vibrant and alive Granville street used to be, before the ill-fated 70’s experiment to turn it into a pedestrian mall (with buses and taxis running down the middle!).

I’m guessing the year of this was about 1955, when we first moved to Vancouver. Which explains my look of wonder. And my Dad in a suit? That hardly happened…
