Lewis Truesdale walking on Granville Street around 1953/54 about 22 years old. At this time he was a first year engineering student at UBC. He came to university later than some, having worked several years to save up the money for tuition. His younger classmates called him ‘Pop’. At the time he was living at Acadia Camp at UBC, the old military barracks converted to student housing after the war.
