This is a shot of my parents, Marcial and Sheila Desjardins, taken probably in 1948 just after they were married. Dad wrote a piece describing his own parents once and I’ll use it here to describe mine, “Two people devoted to integrity, hard work, love of family, and loyalty to friends.”

I never had the pleasure of meeting my Grandmother, but I can see from this photo that she was very beautiful and very much in love her husband. I wonder what she was holding in her left arm. Great photo Foncie 🙂
