Ivy Granstrom, known to Vancouverites as “The Queen of the Polar Bears” with 76 consecutive Polar Bear New Year swims. She was also a Masters Athlete, member of the Order of Canada, inductee into the Terry Fox Hall of Fame. She was also blind but that never held her back from anything.
