The picture is of my Grandfather, Hugh McKie. I found it among some of the old pictures I have in my genealogy collection. I don’t know what year it was taken or the circumstances surrounding it. My grandfather and grandmother immigrated from Scotland in the early 1900’s and retired to Whiterock in 1945 from their farm in northern Saskatchewan.

There is a number on the back (8435513). If that helps dating the photo I would be interested to know when it was taken.
