Here’s my father George and my mother Eleanor out on a date in 1947. My father was attending UBC (note his engineering jacket under his arm) and my mother was working in The Hudson’s Bay when she finished school. I really like my mom’s saddle shoes and ankle socks! My parents were married in 1950 and had two children.
