The two men in the photo are my grandfather and great grandfather. The gentleman with the cane is C. D. Macaulay, and I believe at the time this photo was taken, he would have been retired as a Judge in the Yukon and living in Vancouver. His son Robert, my grandfather, was a lawyer and had just announced that he was giving up the law and going into politics when he died at age 43 in 1940.
