Philip Eccles and Miss Vivien Vickery, just engaged, in North Vancouver where Vivien lived with her family when she was in town.

Vivien was a teacher in Dawson City. Philip was a painter/decorator, played the organ in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, and his accordion for gatherings; and for local ho-downs, funerals in Moosehide…he would travel with the Bishop on the river, or by sled.

This photo is the evening of that engagement.
