1953, probably September, my mother, 21 years old, Verna (Prochnau) Ashman, walking with former classmate chum, Alice Wong. Just prior to this picture they had met at Burke’s Jewellers to decide where to go for lunch. Believe they continued to walk up Granville Street when this picture was taken.
My mother, now 83, is trying to locate Alice Wong as they lost touch over time. Would be lovely to find her possibly through the publishing of this picture if its by the same artist.
